The Scripturewear® Story
Our company, Scripturewear, Inc., is located in Raleigh, North Carolina. I'm a stay-at-home mom with three children and I've always done something at home to earn extra money. In 1997, as a ministry for stay-at-home moms, I started Scripturewear, Inc. Our church has a great relationship with a nearby seminary, so I knew there were lots of other stay-at-home moms who would also like to earn extra money. We now have 6 stay-at-home moms that are crafters for us.
Sales of ScriptureWear® started locally then grew to stores across the country. This truly is a family operated business with everyone in the family participating in some way. My husband, sons, daughters, parents and the children of the crafters have all been put to work. Even our dogs Pepper, Maddie, and my grand-dog, Beamer, have a job keeping me company in the office.
Missionaries have taken ScriptureWear® pieces to China, Kenya, Russia, Argentina, South Africa, Germany, Portugal and Bogota Columbia. We have heard wonderful stories of how they have touched lives. I am very thankful to the Lord for His daily guidance and I amazed at how He continually blesses this ministry.
