Opened in 1980 by Antiguan Peter Kelsick, Sneaky Pete’s has gone from strength to strength. Pete is possibly one of the fittest people you are likely to meet in Antigua, a lifetime as an athlete Pete is a master cyclist and still competes regularly in road races. In 1984 Peter set up, trained and took part in the first Antiguan Sailing Team who attended the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. He is a nationally rated triathlete and won the Master class U.S. sprint championships I.
He is currently setting up a triathlon training program for kids, and hopes to motivate some young athletes on the island to reach competition standard.With his passion for sports both on land and water, he has trained his team to provide the first class care, training and advice that he expects. They are an articulate, intelligent group with a wide knowledge of both the natural, social and political history of Antigua.
At 6ft 4 inches tall, Peter is particularly aware of the issues that face tall and big people in life generally and in sport. If you are passing by make sure you take time to stop and chat, Peter loves nothing more than a good conversation and will be sure to give you great insight into life on Antigua.
