Title
Seaworld, Australian theme park, Gold Coast theme park
Description
The original Ski Gardens were established by Keith Williams in 1958 on the Nerang River, west of Surfers Paradise. This show was transferred to the present site on Sea World Drive, Main Beach, where it has continued since 30 October 1971.
The attraction was totally man-made on an area which was originally swamp and sand dunes. The park has undergone continuous development since 1971 and is now jointly owned by Warner Bros., global entertainment industry leader, and Village Roadshow, Australia's premier film distribution and exhibition company.
Over Sea World’s 34 year history the multi-award winning 25-hectare theme park has found a niche in the hearts of many visitors as the quintessential Gold Coast theme park experience, and conjures warm memories for generations of families around Australia and the World.
