Established in 1957, Securiplan is a privately owned plc providing high-calibre security staff and services to large blue-chip companies, leading retail chains and public sector organisations throughout the UK. It is our aim to work in open and pro-active partnerships with our clients to improve the security of their people and assets.
Securiplan is acknowledged as the 6th largest manned security company in the UK. Our manned guarding business doubled in size in just two years, with 4,000 security officers deployed at 1200 sites around the UK and a turnover of over £80 million in 2004. Our security consultancy and electronic security systems installation divisions enable us to offer effective total security solutions to our clients. It is our long-term aim to become the UK market leader in security in the next decade, through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions.
As a family-owned plc, Securiplan is not accountable to the stock market and is committed to considerable re-investment in long-term development. Securiplan has been an active member of the British Security Industry Association since 1977 and is a leading member of the Security Watchdog, British Institute of Facilities Managers and the West London Chamber of Commerce. Securiplan is accredited to ISO 9002, BS7499 and BS7858 quality standards and we prioritise the welfare of our officers.
