South Eastern Combat Robotics (SECR) is an organization devoted to the promotion of competitive robotics and excellence in engineering. Combat robotics is a fun and exciting sport that teaches good sportsmanship and introduces many engineering disciplines to its participants. SECR has been part of the robotic community for over 3 years, holding robot competitions around the Southeast. SECR was responsible for organizing and running the “filmed for TV” one-pound Antweight competition at a previous BattleBots competition. SECR’s largest competition, Robot Assault, is held annually every Labor Day weekend in North Carolina.
