About the Southeast DBTAC

The Southeast Disability and Business Technical Assistance Center is one of ten Regional ADA & I T Centers on the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and accessible information technology (IT) in education funded since 1991 by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR).

Our Network Structure

The Southeast DBTAC, located within the Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, serves as the Regional Center for an extended leadership network of State and Local ADA and information technology in education Partners from each of the following eight

Designated state leaders serve as the facilitators around which statewide activities are organized. ADA State Affiliates and an Education Leadership Team in turn strengthen each respective statewide infrastructure in supporting Local ADA and accessible information technology in Education networks. Collaborating groups and individuals representing disability, business, and government entities dedicated to informing their constituents, people with disabilities, and the public about the ADA and accessible information technology are welcome to become a Southeast DBTAC Local Affiliate and join the Southeast DBTAC Email List.
