Selwood Science and Puzzles is located just over the railway bridge at Hazelbrook station, between Springwood and Katoomba, in the Blue Mountains National Park, around 90 minutes from Sydney city. Selwood is a fun place for the whole family, full of hands-on activities and displays that are continuously being developed.
You must experience the newly refurbished "Selwood Room". This "room" will intrigue and delight you with it's optical illusions, and hands-on displays. Come and see the law of gravity challenged as you witness water flowing UP-HILL ! ! ! and look into the mirror that talks to you.
Selwood Science and Puzzles is housed in Selwood House, a charming cottage classified by the National trust. Built around 1865, it is now home to an enormous range of fun and challenging puzzles, books and science kits. Wander from room to room and play with the puzzles or hands-on displays.
