Ownership makes the difference Sentinel Federal is a not-for-profit financial cooperative that is owned and operated by its members. Every member is an owner with an equal vote in the election of the credit union’s volunteer board of directors. Once you become a member of Sentinel Federal, you can remain a member for life, even if you change jobs, relocate or retire. Plus, after you become a member, your immediate family members are automatically eligible to join.
