- Supriya has been dancing for twenty years, with expertise ranging from western dance styles such as jazz, hip hop, ballet, and modern dance, to the Indian classical dance of Bharata Natayam, to Indian folk dances such as Garba, Raas, and Bhangra, amongst many others. Her passion for dance began at a very early age and has only grown throughout the years with countless performances all over the country. As a founding member of the Ghungroo Dance Company, based in Illinois, she expressed her passion for this art as well as an ability to share this art with others through both education and performance. Earning awards for "Most Creative" and "Best Choreographer", she strived to preserve the heritage and artistic nature of all her dance pieces. Supriya now brings her unique flavor to the Bollywood dance scene here with classes offered throughout northern california.
