Dr. Shabany is a peridontist, specializing in periodontal disease treatment, dental implants, esthetic periodontal therapy for gingival recession, ridge deficiencies, and "gummy" smiles. Our goal is to provide up to date treatment modalities for our patients in the treatment of gum disease and tooth replacement with dental implants

About Dr. Shabany
Dr. Shabany completed his undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Sciences Degree in Biology at Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He received his dental training at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine. Following graduation, he completed three years of post-graduate studies at Northwestern University Dental School - Graduate Periodontics Program in Chicago, Illinois. While at Northwestern, Dr. Shabany served as an Assistant Professor of Periodontics.
Dr. Shabany has been engaged in clinical practice as well as teaching since completing his postgraduate program. He was an Assistant Professor at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine for several years, and was involved at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Dr. Shabany is committed to continuing education and attends many meetings and seminars every year. He is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Madison District Dental Society.
