Shandon Travel was established in 1974 with its first retail office in Oliver Plunkett St, Cork. Over the past 30 years the company has grown substantially and the company now has offices in Main Street Carrigaline and Wilton Shopping Centre. The Shandon Travel Group also comprises of The French Holiday Centre which specialises in the full range of French products - mobile homes, Villas, apartments and farm houses and camping holiday market; Global Star Travel Management; one of the largest corporate travel providers in Munster; SAYIT Travel which specialises in the student, under 26 and Independent travel market and the latest addition to the group - Pink Travel, Ireland’s first dedicated travel company to the gay travel market.
