Description
Shirley Bond was first elected to represent Prince George-Mount Robson in 2001, and was re-elected for a second term in the 2005 general election.
She was appointed Minister of Education and Minister Responsible for Early Learning and Literacy on June 16, 2005, and has served as Deputy Premier since Sept. 20, 2004. Shirley previously served as Minister of Health Services and Minister of Advanced Education.
Shirley was named to the Government Caucus Committee on Social Development and the Cabinet Committee on Agenda Development on June 22, 2005. She has previously served as Vice-Chair of the Government Caucus Committee on Education.
