Description
Dakota Square is the primary shopping destination for northwestern North Dakota. Located in south Minot, Dakota Square is anchored by Herberger’s, JCPenney, Sears, and Target. The regional shopping center provides customers with a theatre with nine screens, a Food Court, restaurants, The Sleep Inn and Convention Center, Dakota Splashdown Super Slides, and a great combination of national and local retailers.
2004 was an exciting year at Dakota Square with the completion of Carmike Nine, the newly consolidated and remodeled theatre. Two separate theatres became one convenient nine-screen theatre located on the south side of the mall across from Old Navy. Most of the theatres have digital surround sound, larger screens, stadium style seating, and larger plush seats with moveable armrest and cup holders. There is also a very spacious lobby and concession area.
The newest addition to Dakota Square is JJ’s Steakery. JJ’s is located in the Food Court near entrance A. JJ’s features Philly-style chicken and steak sandwiches, along with salads and various other menu items.
