A group of friends were together over Thanksgiving. A few were evacuees from New Orleans, displaced from their homes for the last several months, with harrowing stories to tell of loss and destruction and faced with the daunting task of rebuilding their homes and lives in a city with scant resources to rebuild - few residents, a decimated economy, scarce funds from the Federal Government (far less than originally promised).
