About SignASign.com

Signa traces its origins back to 1915, when the Jefferson Electric Manufacturing Co. was founded in Chicago. Named in honor of statesman-inventor Thomas Jefferson, the company quickly became a supplier to the burgeoning radio and automotive industries, manufacturing radio transformers and magneto lamp regulators for cars. In 1928, Jefferson merged with Chicago Fuse Manufacturing Co. and began making transformers for sign applications.
