Simplot Partners™ is a full-service distributor of proprietary chemicals, fertilizers, and turf maintenance products to the golf and horticulture marketplace, operating from nine locations in the Western and Midwestern United States. Simplot Partners™ is a distribution channel of the J.R. Simplot Company, the primary producer and marketer of fertilizer in the West.
Formerly the exclusive distribution arm for Eco Soil Systems, Inc., Simplot Partners™ originally began as Turf Partners in 1997. Between 1997 and 1998, Turf Partners brought six additional autonomous companies under its umbrella. Its growth continued in 1999 with the addition of six new warehouses and an expanded sales force. Turf Partners was then acquired by the J.R. Simplot Company in August 2000 and its name was immediately changed to reflect the new ownership.
