Description

Jeffrey was my weight loss and fitness coach while I was losing 65 lbs. and continues to coach me to maintain the loss. His ability to hear not just what I say, but what I don't say has helped me realize fitness and healthy weight loss. He brings a clear, no nonsense approach to life. He is intuitive, smart, and funny, and he uses these traits to help me learn to make intelligent weight loss choices forever. And inspiration? He's seen wheelchairs, walkers, canes, endless injections, pills and pain. The day after his last spinal fusion, it took him 10 minutes to make a hundred FOOT walk. After nine months of intense physical therapy relearning balance and restoring the sensation to his legs and feet, Jeffrey could clock an hour of combined stationary bike/elliptical trainer workouts. He's even more "no excuses" with himself than he is with his clients! He insists that he still doesn't enjoy exercising, but the secret to his fitness success is that he always does it anyway.

Susan is the most nurturing and patient person I ever knew. I am continually impressed and inspired by her logical, intellectual and rational approach to the emotions and struggles associated with weight loss and fitness. I have watched Susan work through her own weight loss with shrewd determination and resolute clarity of purpose. Susan has also coached me through the most difficult physical time of my life. After my latest spinal surgery in December 2001, I had to start all over again with my weight loss and fitness. Susan was there coaching, validating, encouraging, supporting and praising me over every tiny step of the way. Susan has helped me translate the emotional reactions to life into logical actions based on choice and planning.

One of us was born with two left brains. The other with two right brains. Hence, together we're a great mix of fun and work, silly and smart. We're major brainstormers and what-iffers, setting out possibilities and suggestions and finishing one another's paragraphs. We don't so much think alike as we think in parallel strands, his/hers/ours, braiding them together into a stronger approach than either of us would have individually. Sometimes we have completely different opinions on a subject. For our clients that means a chance to look at multiple options and solutions and to have several potential fallbacks and alternatives presented. We do, however, always agree on our passion for coaching people in realizing their dreams.
