Simply Digital is a trading name of LRN Distribution Ltd. Set up ten years ago as a trade distributor of satellite and aerial products for the North East region of England, LRN Distribution Ltd quickly grew and became the North East's leading supplier for satellite and aerial products. Simply Digital was formed as the retail arm of LRN Distribution Ltd two years ago. Simply Digital's success has come from a number of different reasons, not least the excellent service and support offered to all their customers. Newcastle-based Simply Digital deal with many of the world's leaders in digital equipment such as Goodmans, Grundig, Intempo, Netgem, Nokia, Pace, Panasonic, Perstel, Philips, Pioneer, Pure, Samsung, Sony, Thomson and Triax.
LRN Distribution Ltd is a family owned company. Employing eight staff including the three Directors, David Matthews and his two sons Steven and Tony. David Matthews has been in the industry for fifteen years, starting off at a company that specialised in large multi point communal satellite and aerial systems. Steven Matthews is now the managing director of LRN Distribution Ltd, being at the company since it was formed in 1994; Steven has been behind the growth and development of the company since day one. Tony Matthews is the senior engineer at LRN, spending most of his time outside of the office designing and installing large complex Integrated Reception Systems for multi-dwellings. With over 10 years experience in the industry Tony is a much respected engineer through the trade. Kevan is the warehouse manager, he sees to all of the trade customers as well as overseeing all orders from Simply Digital. Although Kevan is still relatively young he has a wealth of experience in the trade. Kevan joined the company 6 years ago, and has gone on from a trainee engineer to where he is now. Debbie is the office manager; she will be the person you will probably speak to if you call LRN. Debbie started with LRN two years ago and has quickly picked up a lot of knowledge about the trade. Steve & Gary are both installation engineers, they both work out of the office installing Sky television throughout the North East of the UK.
