Title
Video Editing - Siren Technology - Complete Video Editing Systems
Description
Concentrating on developing software and hardware for the then popular Amstrad computers, Siren was selling its own in-house developed and commisioned software across the globe.
As 16 bit computers took off in the late eighties, all efforts were focused onto the Atari ST and then the Amiga range of computers. The Amiga computers have been very popular with video enthusiasts and in 1997 a gap was developing in the computer marketplace for a company that could specialise in computer-video.
In 1997, computers were becoming increasingly more powerful and prices began to tumble. It was at this point that a viable low cost video editing system could be put together. With thirteen years of I.T. expertise behind them, the staff at Siren started to put together video editing systems.
