The Sky Rangers Model Flyers Club was designed to maximize the fun in R/C model flying and to maintain a high level of good fellowship and comradery between club members, and more recently with the advent of the internet, other clubs of the world. A dedicated group of flyers began forming our club in 1987 and obtained our charter in April of 1990. Club MAAC ID: #383 . Weather permitting we can fly year round.
The aim of our website is to acquaint you with the many interesting aspects of our hobby/sport. This website is put together by the Sky Rangers Model Flyers of Kamloops, British Columbia, one of three clubs in the Kamloops area. The other two clubs are the High Country Flyers (http://www.highcountryflyers.homestead.com) off the Coquihalla Highway on the way to Logan Lake, and the Kamloops Model Airplane Society (http://www.kmas-rc.cjb.net) at Tolko Field in Heffley Creek.
Rather than give a lengthy disertation on R/C modeling, this website will give a list of frequently asked questions with their answers along with a multitude of links, photos, articles and reviews, each having something to add to your knowledge. Hopefully, it will perk your interest enough to explore the possibility of starting in the R/C hobby.
