Tom Stiles, President of SkyShots Photography, has been taking pictures since high school. Growing up in an Air Force family, Tom always had an appreciation and fascination with aircraft and aviation. SkyShots was founded in 1998 when Tom was able to blend these two interests. He lived near a small grass airstrip outside of Baltimore, Maryland and decided to take some aerial photographs of neighbor's houses and nearby farms. After a few "trial and error" flights, Tom sharpened his skills and began shooting construction projects throughout the county. After moving with his family to Richmond in 2000, SkyShots became a full time business. Tom enjoys flying at least once a week out of the Hanover County Airport.
To give back to his community, Tom has donated his time and talent taking pictures for non-profit groups including, Habitat for Humanity and several local churches.
