Description
In 1973-1989 hard cheeses production increased up to 2300 tons per year (only one kind of cheese was produced and was sent to Moscow and Saint Petersburg).
In the crisis period a decrease of milk production in the economy began that played a negative role on the economic indexes of the plant.
Cheese production in 1998 lessened to 258 tons, and 1999 became a crucial year, when each year cheese production was growing and its assortment grew as well. This year 4 000 tons of cheese will be produced, including assortment of 8 kinds of cheeses with different fat percentage.
