I formed smcNet in August 1996 in Santa Ana, California. At that time, I was working for a software company in Irvine, and smcNet was a part-time project for me. A year later, I moved back home to Wisconsin, and I continued to operate smcNet during the evenings and weekends. Since then, I have developed smcNet LLC into a profitable, full-time, home-based business. The lack of geographic boundaries on the internet allows me to work from home, while attracting clients from all over the country. I now have clients in nine states.

I'm a graduate of West High School in Green Bay, Wisconsin; I have an A.S. degree in Computer Science from Santa Ana College. I have served on the Technology Committee at Our Lady of Lourdes School since 1998. I have also been on the Our Lady of Lourdes Education Council since 2000, currently serving as chairman. I am a member of several professional organizations, whose logos appear below.

Since 2000, I have been sharing my time and professional experiences with local high school students in various computer and business classes. I have been a guest speaker at West De Pere High School, De Pere High School, Preble High School (Green Bay), and Southwest High School (Green Bay). I am most proud to be assisting students at my alma mater, West High School. West has a great Computer & Information Technology Academy, where the kids are learning skills that were once only available in advanced-level college courses.
