The Magical Power of Soap
Commercial soapmaking processes filter out the glycerin, which essentially leaves nothing but synthetic detergents behind, thus drying out the skin. The soaps made at Soap Alchemy are handcrafted using only the finest all-natural ingredients available, devoid of any kind of synthetic detergents and are processed in such a way that the soap is left full of moisture-rich glycerin.
The History Behind The Maker
Soap Alchemy LLC was born in 2001 from the passion of the Soap Alchemist to find a bar of soap that would not irritate his skin. So he spent many hours in the library, bookstores and on the internet, searching out how to make a better soap and how to make it easily in his kitchen at home. He made his first bars of 100% all natural, vegetable based, handcrafted soap and from that day on, he has not used a commercially produced bar of soap or shampoo again. At first the soap was given to his friends and family but in 2007 he started selling it at the GLCC of South Florida's Bizarre Bazaar and now, it's available on the internet and at retail stores.
In April of 2008 the Soap Alchemist was among the first to ever become a Certified Soap Maker at the Soap Makers Guild Convention in Vermont.
What's In the Soap?
The soaps made at Soap Alchemy are comprised of three basic groups of ingredients: vegetable oil or goat's milk base, essential oils and water. They don't use Refined, Bleached or Deodorized (RBD) oils or animal fats, nor do they use synthetic oils or scents.

Vegan Certified Soaps
Most of Soap Alchemy's Soaps are vegan certified: they contain no animal ingredients or animal by-products in the manufacturing process, and are not tested on animals by any company or independent contractor. The Pure Castile Line, Basic Castile Line and Specialty Soap Lines have been certified vegan by Vegan Action. Look for the certified Vegan logo. Template:PullQuotewide
