About Us
The Systems and Software Consortium (SSCI) was founded in the late 1980s to provide industry and government a resource for insight, advice and tools that could help them address the complex and dynamic world of software and systems development. Today, that world is even more challenging, and SSCI has evolved our offerings to ensure that our members stay ahead of the curve and achieve the highest returns on their technology investments.
Our membership includes the original founding companies because our mission remains relevant. New members have joined the Consortium because our technical offerings and training programs are always on the cutting edge. As a result, our membership ranks now include industry's Tier 1 market leaders as well as key government agencies and academic institutions—all with an interest in the benefits of good systems and software engineering.
Through SSCI, our members have access to the most advanced processes, methods, tools, and training for their companies. As such, they have experienced faster gains in productivity and increased program success, proving that SSCI is truly value-driven and member-focused.
