If you click on any of the sub-pages in [[VancouverTech]] with maps, you'll see that many of the maps aren't centering correctly on Vancouver. This is due to the way the map tool was created, initially for [[PortlandTech]]. A fix is forthcoming from the AboutUs development team. In the meantime, use the navigation on the GoogleMap to zoom out a few clicks and scroll over to the region you're looking for.

We're continuing to build this resource and portal frame work out, but can use your help! In addition to leaving news items on the [[VancouverTech/What's Happening|What's Happening]] page, you can contribute by building a great [[VancouverTech/Upcoming_Calendar|calendar of technology events]] in Vancouver. Just click on a date, if the link is red a template will automatically open to get you started for that date. 

Additionally, if your group, company or organization has regular technology events or meetings, add it to the [[VancouverTech/Reoccurring Calendar|VancouverTech Monthly Meetings]] page.

The [[VancouverTech]] "What's Happening" news item is an opportunity for the community to share news related to the technology industry in Vancouver, British Columbia. This news stream is also for use as a way of communicating updates and news related to the [[VancouverTech]] portal itself.

Please feel free to add pertinent information to this page with news of what's happening at your VancouverTech company or group. While notices about upcoming deadlines and events can be shared here, although it's also advisable to add an item to the [[VancouverTech/Upcoming_Calendar|Upcoming Calendar]] listings.
