BWGI Ministries was founded in 1997 as a non-profit corporation under the name Kesed Seminars, Inc. The word Kesed is Hebrew for “loving kindness” or “loving loyalty.” The word speaks of the aggressive affection that God has for His own. The ministry grew out of Dr. Eckman’s seminars and course material he presented as Executive Dean of Western Seminary in Northern California.
