The Sport Karate Academy, based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire was formed in 2003, by England Karate Team members Craig Burke and Michael Shrives.
classes - what to expect
Training sessions include a wide range of innovative exercises and drills designed to both improve skills and fitness Classes last for one hour and involve a number of different elements including sparring, technical training, flexibility and strength exercises and general cardiovascular fitness work.
I have been involved with karate for over twenty years, studying a number of different styles, including Wado Ryu, Shotokan, Kick Boxing and Tae Kwon Do.
