South Pacific Private - treatment that counts
Description
South Pacific Private (SPP) is a Residential centre (33 bed) for the comprehensive treatment of people with addictions or other emotional disorders. The most common disorders we deal with are alcohol and drug dependence, depression, eating disorders, gambling and relationship problems. The Residential treatment program is generally five to six weeks long but is tailored to the individual’s needs.
SPP is a unique facility in Australia. Our program is based on the Minnesota therapeutic community model of care –12 Step program and family systems theory.
We encourage a view of the program at SPP not as ‘the cure’ but as the foundation and beginning of a lifelong journey of recovery.
