This site was originally owned by Lisa Heinz (fka Steinberg) and provided an early web-based e-commerce site for brides to purchase wedding accessories. A very valuable part of the website that kept customers returning was a large section of information pages that offered suggestions on bridal attire, headpieces, veils, information about fabrics and materials, etc.

This site was originally owned by Lisa Steinberg as a home-based business located in Athens, Ohio. Starlight Bridals -- started as LS Bridals in summer 1995 (lsbridals.com -- non-archive) before eBay was a household name -- was the only web-based ecommerce site for brides to use to purchase wedding accessories worldwide. A very valuable part of the website that kept customers returning was a large section of information pages that offered suggestions on bridal attire, headpieces, veils, information about fabrics and materials, etc.

Lisa owned this site until the dot-com bubble burst of 2000 and closed business in May 2001, letting the domain lapse. An unfortunate effect was that in 2004, an adult content provider hijacked the site and used it for purposes NOT approved by Lisa and not reflective of the purpose of the site.

Lisa recently reacquired the site and plans to relocate it sometime in 2012 as an historical site.
