Marilyn S. Ahl , Ph.D. provides statistical consulting for master’s theses, doctoral dissertations and course projects in healthcare/public health, clinical/social psychology and education. Assistance with survey design, database development, statistical analysis and data presentation are included in her services. Formerly a research analyst at the Harvard School of Public Health, she has analyzed longitudinal data in the areas of substance use, social service programs and alcohol and drug policies. JOHANNA C. CRAIG has extensive experimental design and data generation/analysis experience, ranging in scope from basic biochemical and molecular biology to high-throughput microarray and genome-based projects. She is adept at performing multivariate statistics and analyses, and helped pioneer the application of Principal Components Analysis (PCA) to gene expression data, which is now used commonly as a powerful tool for exploring gene expression interactions (Craig, J.C., Eberwine, J.H., Calvin, J.A., Wlodarczyk, B., Bennett, G.D., and Finnell, R.H. 1997. Developmental expression of morphoregulatory genes in the mouse embryo: An analytical approach using novel technologies. Biochemical and Molecular Medicine. 60:81-91.). She uses R language, SAS, GeneSpring and PathwayAssist to produce high-quality, robust statistical analyses. She also provides publication-quality graphical representations of the data, including in-depth cellular pathway diagrams of biological mechanisms, cluster graphics and heat maps for microarrays.
