To say this site has got busier would be something of an understatement. For the past couple of months I have had time off, away from my day job, but it seems a good chunk of the time has been spent on maintaining the site. Columns are getting longer, there are more readers' submissions going up and the number of people visiting the site as well as the number of people sending me email continues to soar.

Recently I extended an invitation to readers to contact me if they fancied a quiet bite to eat or a drink. I was overwhelmed with the response and have had a busy period meeting a number of people. I had no idea so many people would be keen to get together so apologies to everyone I could not meet. I am thinking about arranging some sort of Stickman get together night and might try and do it a few times a year, a chance for readers to get together and meet some of the people who write for the site. I think it could be fun. My feeling is that once every three or four months would be about right. If you have any ideas about this, do let me know.

Finally, while I am happy to answer your emails, please do check to see if the question you wish to ask has been asked already. Sure, you may have to dig deep into the site, but even if it takes a long time to find, or you don't find it, I'm sure you'll come across a lot of interesting information along the way.
