Description
Annie's Attic is located in Berne, Indiana. The company published its first needlecraft pattern in 1975 and it quickly became one of America's premiere sources for innovative and classic designs, especially in crochet. At first patterns were sold individually, and eventually they were put together in a catalog along with key supplies.
In 1983 Annie's launched a magazine, named Annie's Crochet Newsletter. The name has recently been changed to Annie's Favorite Crochet. This digest-size magazine continues to publish some of the most exciting new crochet designs you'll find today.
Another important milestone was the launch of Annie's Calendar Bed Doll Society in 1990. It introduced a series of elegant crocheted dresses in an Antebellum style, sized for fashion dolls. There was one for each month of the year, and they were so popular that there has been a new series every year since.
