- Thank you for visiting our website. My name is Janice McCoy. I inherited much of my creativity and fashion interest from my family. My Grandmother, my Aunt, and then my Mother were all seamstresses. My Mother had always pushed me to be the best I could be in sewing, saying "It wasn't worth having unless it was made right and makes the wearer look their best." She taught me to have a good eye for how to make the customer look their best and accent their positive features with the line, color, and style of the garment. I also want to recognize them for instilling in me the ability to look at a design and be able to recreate it. Or,to look at the best parts of several different designs and to then combine them, without a pattern, into a new, unique design customized for the wearer.
