Flowers have played a big part in Sue's life, Her father Arthur Gascoyne used to have his own flower and seed shop on wharf rd.
Sue went to work at a local florist shop called Mrs Darbourne where she started to learn her trade, while working there Mrs Darbourne obtained inter flora status, Which in those days. to achieve such prestige required work of the highest standard.
After a few years Mr Clive Lunn approached Sue to work for him although his business did not have inter flora status.Very soon after Sue began to work for Mr Lunn continuing to develop her expert floral design skills they won the coveted inter flora status.
