Suffolk Family Carers started in 1988 under the umbrella of a local voluntary organisation and became an independent charity, limited by guarantee in 1998. Our main aim is to help increase the well-being of Family Carers by offering information, support, and an advocacy service for the approximately 98,000 Family Carers in Suffolk whose lives are in some way restricted because they are looking after relatives or friends who are frail, ill, or who have a physical or learning disability or mental health problem.
We are a Registered Charity No: 1069937 and a Company Limited by Guarantee registered in England No: 3507/ Registered Office: Unit 8, Hill View Business Park, Claydon, Ipswich IP6 0AJ
