- Although Super Tae Kwon Do (Super TKD), has been open since 2002, the seeds of Super Tae Kwon Do were planted many years ago. At an early age, both Master Beom Soon An and his wife, instructor Amy An began their respective martial arts careers. Since starting his martial arts career at the age of 9 in South Korea, Master Beom Soon An has gone on to become a 5th degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do while also studying Hap Ki Do. As a young child, Instructor Amy, began studying with other members of the family under her father, Grandmaster Wan Sup Kim, 8th Degree Black Belt. Instructor Amy, herself an accomplished martial artist, has gone on to become a 3rd degree Black Belt.
