Given the enormous energy consumed by conventional buildings and their significant contribution to the emission of greenhouse gases, there is a critical need for constructing green, energy-efficient and resource-efficient buildings across the country for mitigating climate change. To provide niche information about green buildings on a single platform, TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) has launched this new initiative called 'Sustainable Habitats'.
