My name is Kim Diamond, I have been married for over 25 years and have 2 children, 3 dogs and 4 cats and I am a quilter.
I have been a quilter for over 18 years and love quilting. I was a computer database manager in a previous work life. The merging of quilting and computers was a natural for me. I was a quilting snob, hand only, until I saw the quality of stitching that the Statler Stitcher is capable of. I love my Statler Stitcher and have had a very successful quilting business for over 8 years. I have the first Gammil fitted with a Statler Stitcher. I work closely with Paul Statler and the gang at Statler Stitcher and continue to beta test new software and products.
I am very active in my local quilt guild and stay current with what is going on in the quilting world. I regularly attend major quilt shows and have had quilts displayed in the AQS Quilt show in Paducah and at the IMQS – Machine Quilter’s Showcase. I have been on four episodes of Quilt Central, a PBS Quilting show. I have quilted quilts that have been published in Quilter’s Newsletter Magazine and American Patchwork and Quilting. I also quilted all of the quilts in the book, English Medallion Quilts by Bettina Havig.
