This blog provides my introduction to sylviakayfootsteps Google Group, which has been created in advance of its need. I felt it was important to create a venue where the art and ideas I've shared on my web-site (www.sylviakay.ca) and in my 2 books ("FOOTSTEPS IN THE SANDS OF TIME My Journey of Remembering, Self-Healing and Learning Through 4 Lifetimes" and "AN INNER JOURNEY... Footsteps of Poetry and Art") as well as other similar material could be discussed. However, although I've sowed the seeds for this discussion in my books, on my web-site and my blogger blog, I don't expect it to really come to life until I'm able to print and sell my books -- giving everyone something to talk about. I think both my books are ready to go to the printer, but since there's no concrete path in this direction, I assume either I still have work to do, or it isn't the "right" time. Consequently I'm waiting, working quietly in the background on what I can for now and learning patience and trust. My books chronicle an almost twenty year meditative journey which has felt more like an adventure than a meditation retreat, seeking to understand myself and what I could of "good" and "beautiful". In the process I've uncovered 3 past lives, all of which were having a major impact on my life here/now. I've worked through what I discovered, piece by piece by myself alone and I share in my books, where my journey took me, what it exposed inside and how I've worked with what I found to create an inner space where body, mind and spirit could meet and function in harmony.
