As a Chartered Organisational Psychologist I am interested in the interrelationships between individual and organisational knowledge development. After completing my psychology internship and working as an Organisational Development Consultant in South Africa I received my PhD from the University of Bath (self-awareness and tacit knowledge). My work continued through research sponsored by the CIPD on the 'management' of knowledge and individual knowledge workers.
The findings form both research projects have developed into my current research project which seeks to understand the generation of intellectual capital in professional services firms. This project (sponsored by the CIPD) is conducted in collaboration with Cornell University. Although challenging it is opening up new and exciting avenues that speak to both practitioner and academic audiences
Reflecting on previous research and conversations with colleagues who have set out to understand organisational knowledge, this website will be used as a resource to integrate the theory and practice in the field of knowledge in organisations.
