Toronto, ON - Youth organizations across Canada host "Day of Action" January 16 to engage young voters before Election Day TORONTO, Jan. 13 /CNW/ - On January 16, Go Vote (www.govote.ca), a coalition of over 13 youth organizations from across the country, is proclaiming a "Day of Action" dedicated to driving young adult interest in the upcoming election. Efforts will coalesce around 16 hours of awareness and action on Monday including innovative events like candidate pub debates, town-hall sessions, election 'walk-in clinics' and community and viral campaigning.

TakingITGlobal's Global Gallery, which just re-launched, is one of the world's largest and most diverse online collections of youth artwork. Thousands of pieces of artwork have been submitted by youth from more than 50 countries, organized around country collections, special themes, and personal exhibits. Each month, a contest is held on subjects ranging from 'Rice is Life' to 'Images of Intolerance' with prizes such as digital cameras, printers and scanners.
