TaxiClub.co.uk has been developed by Taxiclub Ltd. Taxiclub's expertise is in designing mission critical database applications for client/server and web environments. The design of Taxiclub.co.uk has utilised a broad collection of technologies to provide the first web-based, taxi thro' to large coach, online taxi price quoting engine in the UK. This has been made possible by our collaboration with mapweaver.com for the calculation of distances between places.
Mapweaver is a joint venture between Streetmap.co.uk and Drawlive Ltd providing excellence in Vector Mapping, Interactive Mapping, Journey Planning and related solutions on the web. Mapweaver provides a range of ready-to-run and bespoke solutions which are being used to gather and display geographical data on highly customisable maps, to provide natural language journey plans and to supply raw data for haulage, courier and transport companies across the UK.
Mapweaver is hosted and run at Streetmap.co.uk, one of the UK's top online mapping suppliers, and is powered by Drawlive technologies, that have been used by high profile customers including the BBC Natural History Unit, The Woodland Trust and Liverpool University.
