Teachers Federal Credit Union provides personal financial services to more than 160,000 members and with over $2 billion in assets, we are the largest credit union based in Suffolk County.
TFCU has served the educational community and selected businesses in Suffolk County since 1952, when seven teachers pledged five dollars each to form a federally chartered credit union. Those early years gave little hint that TFCU would grow into an institution rivaling most banks in the scope and quality of services.
TFCU now also welcomes the opportunity to provide service to people who live, work or worship in designated areas of communities in Suffolk County.
