Description
I’m Thomas Cloer and was born 1965 (under Gemini). I live in Munich and for a living I work as a journalist for the IT B2B weekly Computerwoche, to be more precise for the news section of its website.
Besides from working and blogging I tend to do a lot of other things, some of which you can read about here. I am very interested in music and play the guitar myself. And I read a lot. I also try to keep up with Munich’s rich cultural offerings (see for example in münchen or artechock) and to take care of my relationship and friendships. I often wish that I had more time.
Some words about my equipment: Personally I prefer Apple stuff (as you might have already guessed from reading). Therefore, my desk is populated by a black 13 inch MacBook, Apple’s Wireless Mouse and Keyboard and a black 30 GB iPod (5G). I also have a Yamaha “Eats-it-all”-CRW-F1 external CD burner, a Maxtor 200 GB external FireWire HD and an Elgato EyeTV for DVB-T (i.e. Terratec Cinergy T2) receiver. My camera is a Panasonic Lumix DMC FX-7 and I use a black Motorola RAZR V3 mobile phone accompanied by a Plantronics Discovery 640 Bluetooth headset.
