Overview
TEEAL was dubbed a "Library in a Box" by a researcher in Africa not only because it arrives in a box, but because it contains the same capabilities as a real-time library does - a comprehensive collection of current journals to browse or search. This library is available to over 100 eligible developing countries, and is a powerful tool for building capacity in agriculture by helping researchers, faculty, students and extension workers quickly retrieve relevant and current scientific information.
TEEAL is available on compact disc or local area network. The journal collection starts with 1993 and is updated annually (the 2005 update will be available at the close of 2006). It includes over two million pages of articles, generously provided by 60 participating publishers and index providers.
