- I was born in Bellevue and raised on a 30-acre farm in a small town along Highway 2 that goes by the name of Gold Bar (don't blink, you may miss it!). At the age of 7 my parents and I moved to Monroe where they opened Cascade Feed Company, a successful farming and animal supply store, while my father attended college. At the age of 10 we sold the farm (literally) and store, packed up the ol' truck, and moved to Mill Creek where I completed my public schooling.
