Description
Texas Aggieland Bookstore was opened in the fall of 1969 by John Raney, Class of ’69. John, as a student, worked in the university owned and operated bookstore then known as The Exchange Store. The original Texas Aggieland Bookstore occupied only about 2400 square feet of what had been a variety store at Northgate. The store expanded in 1974 to approximately 4800 square feet and again in 1986 to approximately 8000 square feet. We opened another location May 2004 on Texas Avenue. We specialize in used textbooks; over 50% of our total book sales are used books.
Fightin' Texas Aggie sportswear is an important part of Texas Aggieland Bookstore. T-shirts, sweatshirts, polo shirts and Aggie gifts of all kinds are found in our large selection of merchandise.
