The Turn For The Judges News Service started in 1994 as a way for this active pageant mom to turn a hobby into something more useful for pageant fans around the world. The founder and owner of TFTJ is Penny Geiszler, the mother a former Teen and Miss pageant contestant. The TFTJ service focuses on the teen and older age groups specifically. Penny was frustrated with all the pageant news available that left the "older" divisions on the back-burner to focus on the younger contestants. With the desire to serve the age groups under-served, the Turn For The Judges news service began.
Turn For The Judges provides a fun and exciting view of pageantry for all women. Turn For the Judges is affectionately known as TFTJ for short.
The TFTJ website and newsletter strives to provide the latest pageant happenings beyond simply who won and what they wore. This objective is achieved through the input from readers, correspondents, and website visitors.
