Description

This pottery is just as functional and durable as it is beautiful. Use your pottery in the oven or microwave or to serve on or freeze a pre-prepared meal and then when you are done just place it in the dishwasher. It is recommended that you do not place your pottery (most pottery for that matter) directly on a stove burner or immerse it in cold water directly after oven use. Also if you have frozen a piece of pottery let it warm slowly - do not place your pottery into a hot oven. Place a spoon in your teapot or any piece that you will be filling with hot water for the first few times of use to disperse the heat evenly and prevent any unnecessary crazing (crackling of the glaze) and to season your pot. Crazing will occur over time with use of your pottery (character lines - like wrinkles on us), this does not damage your pottery or make it unsafe to bake in or eat off of.
